On Monday, May 12, 2014, Bardess Group was once again a sponsor of the Annual New Jersey SIM Foundation CIO Technology Exchange and Charity Golf Event at the Neshanic Valley Golf Course, Neshanic Station, New Jersey. The event marks Bardess Group’s 5th consecutive year of their involvement and commitment to the SIM foundation and charity events. This year the event raised funds for the Junior Achievement of New Jersey for its JA BizTown program.
The program is a two-pronged educational approach to learning the economics of life for 5th and 6th grade students. Students receive classroom-based lessons followed by a fully interactive, daylong visit to the simulated city of BizTown. JA BizTown of New Jersey is a no cost solution (to the school and families) that helps students meet state standards in Social Studies, English and Math and Common Core State Standards. This 21st century learning experience provides more than 24 educational contact hours per student.
During the event, Bardess exhibited the power of Business Intelligence and Data Discovery through the TIBCO Spotfire analytics platform. At a glance, Spotfire’s interactive dashboards and rich visualizations immediately grab the attention of its audience. With its intent to enrich the user, Spotfire offers an arsenal of analytic capabilities such as predictive analytics, event-driven capabilities, and contextual collaboration – all within the realm of easy-to-use functionality. Spotfire’s true value is experienced through its Users (both Business and Technical) as they quickly explore and discover more about their data, their business and their customers, thus leading to the development of actionable insights and better decision-making.
